YouTube has aggressively marketed themselves as THE VIRAL VIDEO place. It always catered to the TV industry to release TV clips of popular shows on their service and in exchange they would aggressively market that video as news via press releases. Now that they've marketed themselves to media-- it's no wonder they were perceived as the viral video masters at first and now they truly ARE.

I'm also eager to buy the new tapeless cameras that are due out in September! Until now, all high resolution tapeless cameras have been made without mic input feature.
