I've read a lot of "what you can do" info lately but I haven't read much "here's what I did." So I just wanted to share with everyone that I donated to the hurricane relief effort at the NAACP.org relief website.
In addition, Joe and I are gathering our spare pillows, bedding, clothing, household items, pet items, personal items, toiletries etc. to donate to a reputable relief agency or hopefully give directly to displaced people's who've made their way to Wimberley /San Marcos area.
I also agree with most of the viewpoints expressed on this website, CommonDreams.org, about how and why this terrible man-made disaster happened.
